A steampunk genre image. This illustration was created for the Expose 11 contest. I had limited time to built this scene. For that reason I recreated the submarine from parts of previous submarine models I created in the past. Also used characters I had already modeled for the divers.
The submarine will be available for sale as a 3D model on creative crash.

This render was created as a personal project. I used Maya and Zbrush for modeling. Vue for rendering and Photoshop for post work. This image appeared in Expose 10 and was chosen as Master artist rendering for the steampunk category.
For this rendered illustration I reused a submarine model and the balloon of an airship I created in the past. I wanted a dramatic scene. To focus on the pirate airship I added a cloud as a backdrop to highlight and isolate the pirate ship.
