Where am I? Editor's Pick
I want to create something "mechanic" after a years of Dragons end Creatures for video games ( Lair, Factor 5). Years ago I start to model a female robot, for an animation project with a friend of me, but at last we didn't have time to complete this project, because of the work. Every year we talk about it and I made a new version of the model and hope to have enough time to play with her.
At last, I have now a 10 different version and this is the last.
For me this model is my never-ending relaxation project: make the new concept, study the mechanics, set the animation is a interesting challenge that teach me every time something new.
I used 3D Max 8 for model and render the scene and I used Photoshop CS2 for textures and correct some detail.

cobold fish Editor's Pick
This is my recent artwork, named "Cobolt FISHy".
Rendered with Cinema4D's R 9.5. Ambient Occusion and Sub Polygon Displacement (vertex maps) were used for it. Translucent Pro was used for faking the Sub Surface scattering Effect, because the C4D internal was too difficult for me to setup here. I hope you enjoy ...cheers,

Post process in Photoshop (layered COPIC pen images). So it looks a bit like painted.
Used plugins: V-Reel skin, Translucent Pro + Transparent shader, Solid Splines Pro and final touch (for shadows, saturation and contrast)
Texturing with SLA (Smells Like Almonds, an internal C4D shader packet, originally done by bhodinut, now cidertank). The complete background was done with it. For the bottom a photo texture was used.
I can't stop doing robots :)
Best regards
