It would be great to make it run in linux.
I've tried everything as described above but returns back: 1)# Error: ImportError: No module named sip # & 2)# Error: ImportError: No module named superLayer #

I think this script must can be run under linux, but you must install pyqt for maya correctly, I
havn't any linux.
From your error, you havn't install pyqt, and then you should:
import syspfPath = r'c:\YourScript\SuperLayerManager'
if pfPath not in sys.path:
sys.path.append(pfPath)
import slm as slm
slm.main()
