I tried creating a NURBS circle shape and extruding it at a given length into a pipe. Spiralizer doesn't want to spiralize on that object, but seems to work OK when I use a NURBS cylinder primitive.

I have been testing it shortly and yes it works on Primitives only. It seems something is wrong with the UV’s on extrusions.
Maybe rebuilt the Surface and correct any UV problems.
The script creates a curve along the surface of the NURBS model and needs a clean surface for that.
