Hi there...
After having tested it in maya 2001, it happens that the compression playblasts parameters are not any more taken in account.
You choose for example "encoding=none" and the shotview creates a very rough compressed file.
It seems it's due to the fact maya 2011 changed the name of this paramater wich cannot be found anymore...
