Hi Dustin,

Again thanks for the script. It's a life saver. I just noticed that all my character files have these four lines when they open up

// File read in 1 seconds. //
// Warning: Cycle on 'lWristIKC.scale' may not evaluate as expected.  (Use 'cycleCheck -e off' to disable this warning.) //
// Warning: Cycle on 'lWristFKC.scale' may not evaluate as expected.  (Use 'cycleCheck -e off' to disable this warning.) //
// Warning: Cycle on 'rWristIKC.scale' may not evaluate as expected.  (Use 'cycleCheck -e off' to disable this warning.) //
// Warning: Cycle on 'rWristFKC.scale' may not evaluate as expected.  (Use 'cycleCheck -e off' to disable this warning.) //

I don't really scale the wrist ever, but thought you should know about it.

Nikhil

    That was on Maya 2010. On 2011, I'm only getting problems with the Ik controllers. I'm using all student editions on a mac. // File read in 2 seconds. // Warning: Cycle on 'lWristIKC.scale' may not evaluate as expected. (Use 'cycleCheck -e off' to disable this warning.) // // Warning: Cycle on 'rWristIKC.scale' may not evaluate as expected. (Use 'cycleCheck -e off' to disable this warning.) // // Warning: This file is from an older version of Maya. If saved, it will not be readable by previous versions. // Nikhil

    Hey Nikhil, I am not sure what is causing that, but I will definitely look into it. In the mean time, if you find those warnings are slowing down Maya's performance, you can just input and execute the following into the script editor or command line: cycleCheck -e off That will get rid of the warnings for that session. It appears that warnings are showing up as soon as you open the file, but do you happen to know what caused the warnings? I am trying to duplicate the problem, so any additional info you can give me would be great. Dustin

    Hey, I'm not exactly sure what's causing it, but I opened up a new project, blank scene and ran the script to create a skeleton with a mesh, and it's still giving me those warnings when I open up the file again. It doesn't seem to be doing anything weird though. I scaled the hands a bit and they seem to be working fine. It isn't really affecting performance or anything, but I just thought you should know about it. Nikhil

    Yeah, I was able to get it to happen. I will see if I can figure it out. Unfortunately the warnings aren't that informative :) Dustin
