Q/A

Skining difficult

Date:08/21/2015
Submitted by: Gilberto Soares Vieira Gilberto Soares Vieira
I start skining the character but the selection of the influences of the joints are too boring to do selecting via Tool Settings. Is there a way to select via right mouse click (select influence)? The joints are locked to select this way.
It would be great to have this option for selection of the influences. Im taking too long to figure out the names and paint the weights =/

I guess that's a matter of workflow. All joints are set to reference with their display overrides. You can set it to default by selecting your character group node and run: select -hi; for ($s in `ls -sl`) setAttr ($s + ".overrideDisplayType") 0; This sets everything to normal and you can select your joints again. You can't revert it though because you would need to figure out which nodes it processed.
