I cant seem to create a snap shot in Maya 2012. Maya 2011 works though.

    I just solved this one! I replaced in openPipelineActions.mel the playblast command (Originally line 945) to the following: string $thisPlayblast = `playblast -frame $currFrame -format image -compression "jpg" -filename $fileName -fo -orn 0 -v 0 -wh 164 105 -p 100`; if(size($thisPlayblast) > 0) { sysFile -ren `toNativePath($fileName)` `substitute "####" $thisPlayblast "0000"`; } and it works... :) Tell me if it does for you too...
