Bugs

Crashes in Maya 2008 when the wrong option is selected when using chipoff

Basically, if only a few/specfic faces of a given polygonal object are selected, and a user inadvertantly selects the "chipoff" option instead of "chipoff at selected area", Maya will completely halt/freze with no error messages. A solution might be to build in a sanity check of some sort for the script to see if an entire oject is checked rather than a component (faces) prior to trying to execute when the button is pressed.

This is now fixed There is now error checking to make sure you don't have components selected when using Remove Random chips.
