It would be very nice to have such features of UV'ing within maya like: 1) ability to take "UV-island-stacking" in account when Laying Out all UV's within UV-square 2) ability to measure pixel-density of currently selected UV to use it for other UVs whenever it is needed 3) ability to pin some UV-dots when unfolding or relaxing and not messing around with selecting stuff 4) maybe some pelting features and stuff - would be nice Maybe it's too much to request - but in a whole it would be a strong collection of valuable features. Thanq'u for your attension ) Naive dreamer )

Hello and thanks for your request. 1) It's an interesting request and something I think many would have use for. I'm not entirely sure how I would recreate this though - atm I can't even come up with an algoritm for it. But I'll look into it. 2) I'm not sure I follow what you are requesting here. Are you talking about the texel density of individual UV-shells? If so: I think it's very possible to make a function that would store a texel density value, which the user later can apply on individual shells. I'll definetly look this up. 3) Ah, the pin-UVs feature. It has been requested by the community for many years actually - and afaik no one has been able to create this feature. This is something that I would really want to add to this script but at this moment I'm unsure if it's even possible. 4) This is something that probably wont be added to my script, considering that there already are some good tools for UV-unwrapping. Autodesk for example offers their own "Bonus Tools" that comes with a pretty good UV-unwrapper. I personally use Roadkill though which is a 3rd party plugin for Maya. This request will be flagged as "rejected" but number 1 and 2 I'll look into. Thanks again for the feature request.

Some pinning functionality has been added by Autodesk for Maya 2016. Pin selected, Unpin selected, Unpin all and Invert selected pins have all been added as buttons on the top bar in NSUV 2.0 (Maya 2016 and later only). Closing this one.
