Skeleton generation aborted?

Date:03/15/2016
Submitted by: Syndar Nailo Syndar Nailo
I have set up a left side of the skeleton on my character, but when i hit the "generate skeleton" button to have the entire skeleton,  i receive this error message "total number of duplicated geometries found are  4 scene contains duplicated Objects..CDK Skeleton generation aborted..." how I can resolve?

Ok Thanks, i have solved. The Skeleton work perfectly, and even after the skinning i don't have to adjust much. But one question, there is a way to have a less number of controller? there is so many is a very mess

When you get that message, It means your scene has duplicated Polyobjects which are not renamed ! second thing you need to check is constraint nodes. select root joint and click on select hierachy, go to edit > deleteByType > constraints and click. Delete all objects in your scene and try to generate skeleton.

Number of controls completely depends on what you are rigging ! You can create some attribute under global_SRT control and connect all extra controls visibility to that attribute. SO in this way animators will have less controls to play with.
