alt-1 to alt-0 are great, but it would be great if the upper panel (perspective) is dynamic, so switching between layouts keeps the same viewport and do not go to default perspective.

Actually the panel configuration (ALT 2 to 9) working based on standard Maya layout behavior, so for change it I need to develop some custom code. If is possible I'll add this feature in one of next release.
