now if you are in component mode - just clear selection and you'll automatically goes to the objectMode.

again and this function will be disabled.
Put text
objectModeSpecial;
in script userSetup.mel in your scripts folder (create this script-file if it not exists) and Maya will run this script automatically when starts.
