That's an interesting idea...now that I've got some time on my hands I want to work on the script and get some more features implemented. I'll see what I can do!

Hi thanks for replying so fast. I hope you don't mind. For my purpose I added a couple commands to the duplicate portion of the script.
duplicate -rr -un -renameChildren
That worked for me as I needed to duplicate groups with children in them. Thank you for postin the script and your notations made it really easy to find the portion I needed to tweak. The script saved me a lot or time and manual work. Thank you again.
