Please update for Maya 2017, your script is great and works fine on 2016. =)
I get the error messagem
# Error: line 1: ImportError: file <maya console> line 31: No module named PySide #
I notice Maya 2017 is using Pyside 2  in C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2017\Python\Lib\site-packages\PySide2 hope that helps  =)

Hey Jack, Sorry for the late response. It seems like Maya 2017 is using PySide2, the tool was developed using PySide. I'll take a look as soon as I get Maya 2017 installed and will post an update after that.
