the rig deforms when parentToHead group rotates. The best way to check is to parent a camera to parent to head and see how the rig distorts as the group rotates away from the grid. I suspect it has something to do with the wire deformers.

    The "parentToHeadGrp" group node has to be parented under the control that moves the head. The wire deformers are in the "parentToLocalGrp" group node, do not parent that group to anything that moves with the main rig hierarchy. Just let that group stay at the origin and don't move it with the rig, that will break it.
