Pose for blendShapes

We want to use the Pose feature to capture and apply blendShapes .
The issue we have is that we get a slider which automatically goes from -10 to 10.
Is there a way to just have the 0 to 1 for this? Also when you press for another blenshape it has an additve effect upon the previous blendshape.
Thanks for any help with this.
Regards
Steve
