Issue building advanced skeleton

I am repeatedly getting an issue when trying to build an advanced skeleton on a mac. I've been able to use the plug in on this computer in the past without issue. I attempted to build the spider as seen in 6th demo video, making non standard creatures and obtain this error:

// Error: This command requires at least 1 argument(s) to be specified or selected; found 0. //

If i remove the hip and foot labels, then the skeleton is made without a problem. Any help on this is very appreciated. Thanks!
