Controls messed up after set key

I'm not sure if I'm just not doing something right, but I'm having a big issue with the rig.

I posed the rig, then set my keyframe, when I moved to the next keyframe and went to move the controls, they come away from his body. I first started to animate the rig in Maya 2012, and figured it was just a compatibility issue since the rig is not compatible 2012.

But then I opened it in Maya 2010, and downloaded the latest updated rig, and it still did it.

Has this every happened before?

    Hi, Great Character, love it! But I'm having the same issue also, I just set my 1st key and suddenly the controls detach itself from the body. I'm using Maya 2014, Any help would be great, its a shame because this character looks really fun to work with.

    Same issue here, but I think I find what's messing that up, I delete the key or better say: break the connections of: IK FK blend and Stretchy attributes in the channel box of the hands controls and with that done, everything flows well as it should. I find that just after copy and paste the animation of an older version of my file, that take a lot of my time, so I decide to share this to advise those who can fall into the same issue since when I did I was unable to find any related info to help me to solve or at least understand what was going on and what alternatives I had to resolve it. Damn I even end up making this script: El problema de Buckid está en los controles de la mano/dedos (no el de la muñeca sino el que al seleccionar da acceso a la curvatura de los "dedos" en el Channel Box) para corregir el problema que da (dejar botado el mesh mientras los controles siguen) simplemente borrar los keys de los controles de la mano (repito: no son los de las muñecas) y a continuación el script para copiar la animacion: select -r a:L_leg_ctrl ; timeSliderCopyKey; select -r L_leg_ctrl ; timeSliderPasteKey false; select -r a:R_leg_ctrl ; timeSliderCopyKey; select -r R_leg_ctrl ; timeSliderPasteKey false; select -r a:pelvis_ctrl ; timeSliderCopyKey; select -r pelvis_ctrl ; timeSliderPasteKey false; select -r a:midSpine_ctrl ; timeSliderCopyKey; select -r midSpine_ctrl ; timeSliderPasteKey false; select -r a:upperSpine_ctrl ; timeSliderCopyKey; select -r upperSpine_ctrl ; timeSliderPasteKey false; select -r a:neck_ctrl ; timeSliderCopyKey; select -r neck_ctrl ; timeSliderPasteKey false; select -r a:jaw_ctrl ; timeSliderCopyKey; select -r jaw_ctrl ; timeSliderPasteKey false; select -r a:head_ctrl ; timeSliderCopyKey; select -r head_ctrl ; timeSliderPasteKey false; select -r a:R_clavicle_ctrl ; timeSliderCopyKey; select -r R_clavicle_ctrl ; timeSliderPasteKey false; select -r a:R_arm_ctrl ; timeSliderCopyKey; select -r R_arm_ctrl ; timeSliderPasteKey false; select -r a:L_clavicle_ctrl ; timeSliderCopyKey; select -r L_clavicle_ctrl ; timeSliderPasteKey false; select -r a:L_arm_ctrl ; timeSliderCopyKey; select -r L_arm_ctrl ; timeSliderPasteKey false;
