This matte painting was made for a contest of a french movie titled le dernier. The biggest challenge was to imagine what would look like the biuldings and houses behind de wrecked ones. The sky is from another photo that i tweacked for the purpuse of the matte
Softwares used: Photoshop,Softimage XSI,Combustion you can have a look at Mattepainting.org to see all reference photos

REally nice job. I love it. It\'s just a bit dark as you can see the foreground detail fairly nicely but towards he background it starts to really fall off but maybe that is what the shot called for. It\'s really nice work though, nice job. Christian Choi -
