This was a personal project I did to experiment with normal maps and HDRI lighting.
The low poly meshes were built and unwrapped in Maya 8, and the hi res were constructed in Max 9 using NURMS.
Normal maps were baked out in Xnormal, and final rendering of the low poly meshes was completed in Max using Mental Ray and tweaked Arch and Design shaders.
DOF and image exposure correction was handled in photoshop.

its amazing, Mind-blowing. would i be able to create those unbelievable stuffs. i modeled a gun but never got that result. i did not know how to create normal maps and what is HDRI lighting. i will be thankful if YOU can help and guide me out to get those heart throbbing results.
