I don't know anyone who doesn't like gummybears...except this nice fellow.
Of course he has a good reason killing all these poor bears. Over the time they
have killed millions of his brothers and sister...but now his time has come...
An eye for an eye...
hope you like it and I didn't spoil you appetite for candies

hi mooses, some questions.. 1) your background is it a photoshop texture mapped on a plane? 2) what kind of shaders did you use on the gummy bears? 3) do you have multiple light sources for each of the gummy bears or separate ones (ambient, spot, etc.) ..any chance for an animation of this with a short storyline? Thanks. brownbear

Hi Brownbear 1. Yes the background is made and composited in photoshop. 2. The shader is pretty simple. It consists of a transparency with blurry refraction and an absorption colour + specular. 3. There\'s just 1 omnilight in the scene. The remaining part of the lighting comes from a GI bounce where the bears are excluded, since they are just transparent. Their shading comes from the blurry refraction and the specular. About the animation... I don\'t think, that there sill be one. Because A) my animation skills are auite good enough for a bouncing ball and B) I\'m not shure if I could get an interesting story for the picture, whioch would already be told by the picture itself. also thanks Daniel

Fantastic! For such a violent subject it is quite soothing to look at, although the background is a little distracting and maybe takes away from it a bit. Otherwise great work
