I couldnt get it going in Maya 2011 x64. I dragged the script to the shelf but nothing when I press the button.

The shelf command should be "vraytuner;" - it won't work if you just paste the code from the script.

nice script, thanks alot! just learning v-ray for maya and this helps. one question - what's with the "it's a setup" procedure? do you just edit the portion within the vraytuner.mel scipt?

I removed the It's a Setup button since it was meant to be something people would use for their own V-Ray setup tweaks but no one did, I don't think. It was sort of a preset but only for values you'd manually enter in the MEL script.

Looks like a great script. Unfortunately - on my laptop the window can only be re-sized a certain amout an makes a number of the items in lower portion of the window unavailable. When docked - I do not get any sort of resizing and scroll bars. Looks to be a great time saver - just cannot use it.

just FYI that the scroll bar was added a few versions ago, so it's fine to use on laptops.

I cannot get your script to work with Maya 2012 x64 for some reason. I have copied and pasted it into the into my (Maya/2012x64/Scripts) folder and I have restarted, rehashed Maya. When I type "vraytuner;" in the command line and hit enter nothing happens. I have also tried sourcing it manually and nothing. Any ideas or suggestions?
