Having trouble getting my sequence out

Hello there, I have opened the script interface just fine and have am rendereing to my destination.  The issue is that it is rendering the same image over and over again.  I have a camera set up, with 260 different frames I would like to have rendered, any ideas?

Ah good to hear that did the trick! I'll update the description of the product to let others know how that portion of the script works in more detail as well. Thanks for getting in touch, I'm glad I could help. Lucas

Hi Lucas, Thank you for the quick response. Problem solved! I did not have all of the scene selected in the Render View. Although selecting the entire fame in the Render View was the solution, it does not explain the repetitive rendering of frames, as all was set up correctly in the Render Settings. For this issue, I have concluded that I was just too tired :), and my camera in the scene was moving too slow, making it difficult to observe any difference in the small batch of frames I was test rendering. Thank you for the support and excellent script! Geoff

Hello! That is strange, however I think it may have to do with the render settings. "Frames / Animation Ext" should be set to something other than single frame mode. Otherwise it will over write the rendered frame each time. However, if you already have that set, then my next question would be does the time slider visually advance each frame while rendering with the script? The way the script renders is manually advancing the time slider, and taking a marquee render of your selected area ( so its also important to have the entire region selected if you want full frame renders) I've always had success with the time slider moving forward while rendering with the script but if you have different results definitely let me know. Lastly, you could try using the script on a fresh scene with a cube animating and see if the same problem's persist. If it does, try to explain the steps you took and if there are any errors those would help too. What version of maya are you using? Lucas
