Installing scripts on a Mac

I just strated out as a Mac user my self, so im not an expert in this field. Its basically the same as on a windows mashine, but they have for some reason choosen to hide the floders pr default:
Use the "go to folder" fuction in Finder:
For the script:
Macintosh HD/Users/Your_User_Account/Library/Preferences/Autodesk/maya/mayaVersion(eg. "2015-x64")/

From here you should be able to see "/scripts" and "/prefs/icons/" and place the .mel in scripts and the icons in icons folder

If you have problems with the right names, you can also execute this code in Maya to get the name of the paths:

internalVar -usd; // return script folder
open finder and paste the result in to the go to folder window.

internalVar -ubd; // return icon folder
open finder and paste the result in to the go to folder window.

If anyone has more insight in the Mac please post an awnser to this post.

Cheers Mads
