Q/A

Can't get to work when away from world center

Date:03/14/2017
Submitted by: bnicolucci bnicolucci

This seemed so awesome, until I moved the root of my character away from world center, then it all falls apart.
It doesn't seem to matter where I put the R_lid_parentToLocalGrp, a couple of the curves in R_lidCrvGrp break horribly and muck it all up.

Do you have an example file with this system that works so we can see how you parented things?

cheers

    Hey bnicolucci,

    the  parentToHead group needs to be parented under the head control of your rig. The parentToLocal group should be parented outside the rig hierarchy so that it does not follow the rig. It should be named parentToWorld group to make it a bit more clear I think.

    Cheers,

    Hello Wilhelm,
    The coolest eyelid rigger but facing issues.

    I cretade a transform node using the following command
    createNode "transform" -n "transform1";

    and parented the parentToLocal group under it still its falling apart when moving the character around.

    Please Help!

    Thank you.
